Have you seen “Food Inc.?”and wondered how you can affect change in the food industry?

If you live in DFW, you can start your healthy food adventure by shopping at one of the many farmer’s markets. It’s a fun way to see where your food really comes from (seed to store) and sleep a little better at night, know you are nourishing you (and your family) with more honestly grown food. And hey! It could cost less! This is a pretty comprehensive list.

And if you’re really interested in learning about living more (wait for the buzzword) GREEN, The Live Green Expo is happening on Sat. April 17 from 9am-7pm. Admission is FREE, people! The farmer, Joel F. Salatin, that is an important source on “Food Inc.” is the keynote speaker. He’ll talk about your buying decisions could change not only your family’s health, but also change the local economy and environment.

If you are on more of a quest to learn how to create change in your home, modes of transportation, water or gardening techniques, experts will be sharing their knowledge at this expo too. Hey fashion mavens! There’s even something for you.
